Welcome to Rugby LUG!


Rugby Linux Users Group is an active and growing group who share an interest in free and open source software and hardware, and who are based in and around Rugby in the UK. From novice to expert, we welcome everyone with an interest in Linux and open source!



We meet as a group for technical/social meetings on the third Monday of each month (except Bank Holidays). All meetings are held in the centre of Rugby and are free to attend.

Rugby Open Code Club


Rugby Open Code Club meets every Wednesday evening (19:00-21:00) upstairs in the Cafe of the Rugby Asda Superstore.

Mailing List


The Rugby LUG mailing list is the first port of call for information on upcoming group events and for discussion between members. The list is not high volume and all LUG members are encouraged to sign up.

Based in the West Midlands, we are lucky to be surrounded by many other groups who share similar interests to us. Technical Library


The group is a member of the O'Reilly User Group programme, and we may be able to get review copies of recent O'Reilly publications in exchange for user reviews and feedback. We can also get discounts on new purchases for members.
