Meetings

We meet as a group for technical/social meetings on the second Monday of each month (except Bank Holidays). All meetings are held in the centre of Rugby and are free to attend.

We are always on the look out for speakers to present on interesting topics, so if you feel that you (or someone you know) could offer a talk, please get in touch!

Next Meeting: Monday 13th May 2013

Planned Topic: Build your own Minecraft server

Meeting to take place at credativ, 36 Regent Street, Rugby, CV21 2PS, starting at 20:00.

Technical Meetings

Covering technical topics and featuring live demonstrations, our technical meetings take place on the second Monday of each month, in the offices of credativ ltd (36 Regent Street, Rugby, CV21 2PS [map]).

Meetings start at 20:00 and typically last a couple of hours. For an idea of the topics we feature please check the meetings archive.

We always try to have at least one technical presentation each month. If a speaker is covering a topic in depth, we usually dedicate the whole meeting to the topic. Alternatively, we may have an evening of "Lightning Talks" in which speakers give quick 10-15 minutes talks on various topics. Lightning talks let us cover several different topics during a meeting and we think it makes meetings even more interesting for those that attend, as there is always something new to learn about.

Social Meetings

Our separate social meetings are currently on hiatus. But don't worry, we frequently go to the pub (usually the Alexandra Arms - see map above) at the end of our technical meetings!
